浅谈概念学习的重要性

概念是构成科学理论知识体系的基本单位,是最基本的科学理论知识。学生要学习和掌握任何科学理论,必须重视对其中基本概念的理解和掌握。尤其是思想政治课这类理论性较强的学科,更需要学生能够精准的掌握学科中的基本概念,从而理解所阐述的理论思想。因此,在思想政治课中,基本概念的教学尤为重要。但现实中,一些政治课教师对概念的教学并不重视,在教学中采取“扫描式”地讲解,然后要求学生死记硬背。这样,虽然学生能够背出概念的内容,但并不能深刻的理解其中的知识原理和解决问题。究其原因还是教师对书中的概念特点和教学方法不了解,不重视。

首先,概念是对知识的高度抽象和概括,它是人们通过实践从对象的许多属性中抽出特有属性概括出来的,因此学生理解起来有一定的难度,需要对所学的知识有一定的感知,才能更好的认知和掌握。因此老师在上课讲解概念前,先要对相关的知识或历史背景给予介绍,让学生熟悉要掌握的内容。例如,在讲到“社会主义初级阶段主要矛盾”这个概念时,我就先给学生介绍了有关的知识背景,尤其是我国解放初期的一些经济生产状况,使学生们对这一矛盾就有了深刻的理解和认同。

其次,概念形成过程是人们的认识从感性上升到理性的过程,是一个独立完整的知识体系。因此教师在讲解概念的内容时,一定要系统、完整,让学生能够掌握概念的全面性和逻辑性,有利于学生的理解和记忆。在讲解“可持续发展”这个概念时,我就着重给学生强调这个概念的整体性,不能分割的看。书本告诉我们可持续发展是既满足当代人的需要,又不损害后代人满足其需求的能力的发展。我们往往在讲这个知识时,更多的强调了后部分的内容而忽略前部分,所以这个概念就是不完整的。

概念是由内涵和外延两个部分组成的,它们之间是相互联系的,因此我们在教给学生概念时,先要引导学生认真的分析概念的内涵,把握内涵的每一层含义。教师要仔细的帮助学生剖析,一层层的讲解,使学生有立体性的认知。概念的外延虽然由内涵决定,但它会有一定的变化,有些甚至是具有迷惑性和欺骗性,很容易和其它概念混淆。因此,教师在讲解概念时一定要让学生分清楚不同概念的区别。当学生有了这样的认识和区分时,就不容易糊涂了。当然,关键之处还是要把握概念的内涵,这是概念的特质。有些概念叙述的比较长,而且包含的内容比较多,那我们在掌握概念内涵时就可以一层层的讲解和分析。比如,“按劳分配 ”这个概念,我在讲解时就给其划分三层,一是分什么,二是根据什么分,三是如何分。学生以这种思路学习,就很快掌握了要点。

马克思主义哲学普遍联系原理告诉我们:物质世界是错综复杂、普遍联系的,事物的联系具有普遍性。世界上的一切事物都不能孤立地存在,都同周围的其他事物相联系。思想政治课中的概念也遵循了这一原理。 在同一理论知识框架中,概念是相互联系的,因此我们在区分它们的不同时,也要掌握之间的联系。这种联系并不是说语言相似,或是意思相近,而是要掌握同一单元内的知识框架,知识间的相互关联能够帮助教师更好的讲解知识点,也能帮助学生更好的掌握知识概念。因此教师帮助学生建立知识框架对概念的学习是很有必要的。比如,政治课中与“法律”相关的内容可以组成一个知识框架,在这个框架中有依法治国、道德、纪律、秩序等几个知识点,在教师讲解过程中,这些知识概念可以相互对比,找出关联的部分,学生掌握起来就容易了。

思想政治课中的概念是人们在实践中形成的,因此我们在进行教学时,必须与实际联系,如果只是以理论来阐述理论,学生很难做到真正的理解,而且这种理论也是空洞的,学生不会信服。只有把概念和实际相结合,尤其是在现实中找到与概念相吻合的事物特点时,学生们才能真正的体会其中的含义。在讲到民族精神的内涵时,我就结合了现实生活中的英雄事迹,与民族精神概念做例比,学生们就能够很好的接受了。

当然在讲解概念时也应当借助一些辅助的手段和设备,这样也有利于教师的讲解和学生的理解。比如在讲解概念时可以准备一些图片,以形象的视觉刺激来增加学生的印象,也可以利用课件或是幻灯片的方式来呈现给学生所要讲解的概念知识,使学生能够通过感官刺激来体会概念的内容。

以上几点只是本人在思想政治课教学过程中的一点体会和总结,在提倡素质教育的今天,对课本中的概念性知识的讲解要求教师掌握方式方法,一味的灌输并不能让学生真正的掌握其中的道理,而且还容易产生反感,只有适应新形势要求,更好地进行思想政治课概念教学,才能实现素质教育的目的。
