Hello , everyone. I’m Tom . It is nice to speak about help here. In our life
we often help others and also get help from others . When we help our
classmates with their studies and other things, we can develop our friendship. If
we give a hand to old people, we can understand the meaning of pleasure.
As we know, patients need help most.. When we help them, happiness
comes to us. Helping others is especially important in our life. I think we
can get much when we help the people around us. Helping others is
helping ourselves. As the saying,” Giving is much better than receiving.”

Last week our class had a parents’ meeting. At the meeting all
parents talked about whether doing a lot of homework was useful or not.
Many parents thought that doing much homework was useful. They thought
by doing a lot of homework , the students could review what they learned.
It would also help to develop the students’ minds and stop them playing
computer games. But a few parents thought that too much homework
was useless. Because doing much homework took a lot of time and thus
students could not have a good rest. What’s more they could not do the
things they liked. In my opinion , doing some suitable homework is necessary
and helpful.

television. First ,it can give us the latest information and news. It can also

can spend our free time watching our favorite TV shows. After a whole
day’s hard work or study we can sit before television , and we drink a
cup of tea to relax ourselves. How wonderful it is!But , television is bad for
our health. It is bad for us to watch TV too long time, especially bad for
our eyes. At the same time, if we spend too much time on TV ,we will
have less time to do sports or do homework. In my opinion, we should
watch TV properly and don’t be addicted to it too much.
